Joshua Texas

We’re now in Joshua, Texas visiting Kyle’s father. We’re able to courtesy park in his backyard. We have full hookups here, including 50 amp power and high speed internet access.

This is Texas in the summer, so the temperature is hitting around 105 each day. It does cool down to the high 70′s to low 80′s each evening. There has also been a constant breeze. So mornings and evenings are rather pleasant. In the heat of the day though, it’s like being in a convection oven.

One nice thing about this lifestyle is our ability to visit family and friends, no matter where they live. We can easily go anywhere we want, stay somewhere close and visit without moving in and running up against the three day rule. We’ll also be seeing two of Mary’s brothers this summer. Her family is spread coast to coast (and China), so the family doesn’t get together often. Over the next couple years though, we’ll be able to see most of them though.

But for now, we’re enjoying Texas. Just us, Kyle’s father and the cattle.

Not sure what they're talking about....
