Beverly Beach State Park

Our next stop after Cape Lookout was Beverly Beach State Park.

The campground is a short walk from the long sandy beach, which offered nice afternoon walks. Along the beach were a string of small stones. At low tide, they reminded me of a karesansui.

In the distance you can see the lighthouse on Yaquina Head.

Just south of Beverly Beach lies Newport, Oregon. The port there is full of fishing vessels.
